The Cody Cattle Company, owned and operated by Greg and Ann Pendley, was purchased by the couple in 2018 and began its first season under their ownership in 2019. Originally founded in 2009 by a group of partners, the Pendleys have brought their own unique style to the music, show, and overall guest experience.

Before taking over the Cattle Company, Greg and Ann ran Cody Trolley Tours for nine years. Greg, a Cody native, and Ann, originally from Columbus, Ohio, who moved to Wyoming in 1988, have both been professional musicians for nearly 50 years. They were part of the Cattle Company band for five seasons—Greg on guitar and Ann on keyboards—and continue to perform occasionally as a duo. Deeply involved in their business, they can often be found greeting guests, serving drinks, or bussing tables. The Pendleys are proud parents of five children and grandparents to seven.
